Event Description:

Do you want to live greener but don’t know where to start? Do you find yourself wondering what else you can do to protect our planet? You are not alone! Please join us as we explore Lighter Living – a concept to encourage us all to consume less, waste less, live more and share more! Check out our new Solar Panel upgrade and learn about the benefits of solar energy. Featuring Keynote Speakers Rob Baxter, M.B.A of Vancouver Renewable Energy and Dr. Stephen Sheppard, PhD, ASLA, Professor in Forest Resources Management, Faculty of Forestry of UBC, as well as a variety of local sustainable business members. A light lunch prepared by Save On Foods Mission will be provided and The Anti-Litter Junior Bug Club will be sponsoring a children’s activity. Bring your friends - all are welcome!
