About the event
Environmental Education + Beach Cleanup + Canoe Trip
Open to children & youth from 5 to 18 years old. All youth must be accompanied by one parent or guardian at all times (no drop-offs). Members of our Litter Busters & Youth Environmental Stewardship Club are invited to register for this event
This is a great opportunity for a fun day at the lake with your kids while learning about the environment.
Youth will learn environmental concepts regarding the negative impact of litter & dumping on Stave Lake and to its local wildlife. Participants will actively be apart of the solution by engaging in a beach cleanup. Afterwards, Ridge Wilderness Adventures will be bringing everyone on a canoe trip to further explore Stave Lake.
